STUDIO POLICIES
Classes and workshops at Glass Arts Collective are restricted to those who are 7 years of age or older for Fused Glass and 13 for Stained Glass, except where noted. Individuals under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
Payment
We accept Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, Venmo, and Apple Pay.
The class fee includes a $25 non-refundable, non-transferable registration fee.
The cost for each class includes everything required to complete the examples of pieces.
Preparing for Class
Closed-toe shoes must be worn. Long pants are best when working with glass. Safety glasses will be provided and should be worn when cutting glass or when working near someone who is cutting glass. Some classes, when working with Glass Powder, will require a (N95) Particulate Respirator.
Most classes are 2-3 hours. Fused glass classes require a return visit to pick up your art in approximately 1 week.
Cancellation & Transfer Policies
If Glass Arts Collective cancels: Our minimum class size is two for fused or stained glass classes. In the unlikely event that we cancel a class due to low enrollment, registered participants will receive a full refund.
Whenever possible, cancellations are made at least one week in advance of the class start date.
If a class is cancelled, we are not responsible for reimbursing travel costs or other reservation fees.
If you cancel or transfer: Our class, your payment will be saved as a credit on your account.
Full payment will be forfeited by those who cancel their registration or fail to appear.
Students who cancel or transfer registration 24 or more days before the beginning of a class will receive a credit on their account.
We request that cancellations be made at least 14 days prior so that we can fill the student’s space.
Liability Waiver and Release
During registration or the beginning of class, you will be required to complete and sign a liability waiver. Parents or legal guardians of minors are required to sign the waiver. Attendance at classes is restricted to those who have a signed waiver on file from within the previous 12 months.
