Heart of Sunshine is a 6" x 6" fused glass bowl handcrafted by Abby Garner, featuring delicate blue flowers carefully arranged in the shape of a heart. Golden yellow stripes sweep across a soft sky-blue background, creating a joyful contrast that feels like wildflowers under a bright morning sun.
Each flower was individually formed and kiln-fired first. The floral heart was then full-fused into the base glass, and finally fired a third time to gently slump the piece into its softly contoured bowl shape. This multi-step fused glass process gives the dish its smooth, high-gloss finish and dimensional depth.
This is not mass-produced glass. This is kiln-formed art — layered, fired, shaped, and refined through multiple firings.
