This custom fused glass cross was created by Patty Heinen for a little girl's Baptism, born in Australia. Each section tells part of her story, with joyful details including a kangaroo, koala, cockatoo, echidna, the kangaroo paws flowers, a heart, and in the center is the Uluru (formerly called Ayers Rock) with Aboriginal-inspired patterning.
It’s a beautiful example of how a commission piece can become more than art — it can hold family history, birthplace, favorite animals, meaningful symbols, and love in one handmade keepsake.
